W5 Late- Summer Series: Destination Animation

W5 Late is an adults-only, after-hours evening of interactive fun at Northern Ireland’s award-winning science and discovery centre.

At W5, fun has no age limit but for four nights this summer, there are no kids allowed and grown-ups are given the run of the place!

Typically happening four times a year, an expanded summer series of W5 Late events will take place over four consecutive Thursdays this summer.

After 20 years as one of Northern Ireland’s favourite family destinations, W5 has been completely transformed following a major £5million investment last autumn. With two reimagined exhibition floors and eight interactive zones, featuring 250+ hands-on exhibits, it’s the perfect playground for a fun night out with your friends.

A fully licensed bar will also be available where visitors can enjoy a cold glass of beer or wine after an evening of adventure.

August 4: Destination Animation
If comics and animation are your jam, this is one for you. Expect interactive talks, workshops AND entertainment, all on an animation theme. Two special model-making workshops with expert Aardman model maker, Jim Parkyn will also take place on the night. Places for these workshops are limited to 60 people per session. Choose the General Admission + workshop ticket (£20 plus booking fee) via the booking page if you would like to take part. Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
