We love organising community days for local people to come down and learn about the area, but also share their memories and experiences. We have learnt so much from former shipyard employees and their families, local residents, and people who love visiting the area and sharing their favourite moment on the Maritime Mile.
We also have a volunteer scheme you can join – Heritage Helpers. We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic & reliable people to become volunteers and are designing diverse and exciting opportunities which offers volunteers the chance to improve confidence & wellbeing, as well as having some fun.
