From Harbour to the Moon

From the Harbour to the Moon invites curious minds to uncover the fascinating connections between Belfast's maritime heritage and the future of space exploration.

Led by W5's Learning and Engagement Team, this hands-on experience takes place at the SoundYard on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 August from 12pm-4pm, with interactive challenges including plotting a route from Belfast Harbour to a lunar base, piloting robotic explorers, launching rockets from the waterfront and experimenting with communication systems.

Along the way, families will discover how the skills, technologies and innovations that helped shape Belfast's maritime industries continue to influence the next generation of exploration on Earth, the Moon and beyond.
