All you need to know to plan your weekender from transport to COVID guidance.
Getting to and from the Belfast Maritime Weekender could not be easier, rent a bike using the Just Eat Belfast Bike Scheme and cycle to our event. You can pick up and drop off your Belfast Bikes at any of the city’s docking stations including Donegall Quay, Corporation Square, SSE Arena Belfast, Belfast Met, Catalyst Inc and Eastside Visitor Centre.
Or why not take yourself on an adventure and walk the quaysides from Sailortown to Titanic Quarter and enjoy a stroll along the idyllic Maritime Mile.
City Quays: City Quays is centrally located in the very heart of Belfast City, just five minutes drive from George Best Belfast City Airport. From Bangor direction follow Belfast Road and A2 to Little Patrick Street in Belfast. Continue on Little Patrick Street to City Quays. From North Coast direction get on M2 from A57 and Antrim Road/A6. Follow M2 to Duncrue Street in Belfast. Take exit 1B from M2. Continue on Duncrue Street to City Quays.
Titanic Quarter: From Bangor direction follow Belfast Road and A2 to Belfast. Take Sydenham Road to Queens Road. From North Coast direction get on M2 in Antrim and Newtownabbey. Follow M2 to Queens Road in Belfast. Take exit 1 from M3 and continue onto Queen’s Road. Parking facilities include underground parking at Titanic Belfast, on-site parking on Queen’s Road, SSE Arena and Premier Inn Belfast.
There is no dedicated car parking for the event; however, those attending the event are encouraged to use city centre car parks, those within Titanic Quarter or the NCP at Corporation Street.

Alternatively, hop on a bus from the city centre bringing you directly into the heart of Titanic Quarter. Find out more about Tranlink’s bus services, including timetables and prices here.
City Quays: Translink offer Metro and Ulsterbus services, covering not only Belfast City Centre but all sides of the country. The closest bus depot is Laganside Bus Centre, located only a few minutes-walk from City Quays. If you would like to travel from the city centre, hop on the 2F bus at Wellington Place for a short bus journey to Pilot Street, located in the heart of City Quays.
Titanic Quarter: Glide through city traffic and arrive fresh on a modern and high-tech mode of travel on the Translink Glider. The service provides direct cross-city services between the east and west of the city, with the G2 route linking into Titanic Quarter.
Or come by train to Yorkgate Station or Titanic Halt. Both stations are within walking distance to the event sites. Find out more information about Translink’s train services, including timetables and prices here.
