Hours One & Two

If you haven’t brought the family to see Titanic Belfast yet, do it now! Next to the offices where the ship was designed (now the Titanic Hotel Belfast) and the Titanic Slipways where it was built and launched, is the city’s world-famous visitor experience, Titanic Belfast. The contemporary six storey building is clad in 3,000 individual silver anodised aluminium shards and stands 126ft high, the same height as Titanic’s hull. Inside are 9 interactive galleries packed with special effects, animation replicas and images tell the story of the most famous ship ever built – the most authentic, moving and awe-inspiring Titanic experience in the world.

Hour Three

Included in your Titanic experience ticket and located right beside Titanic Belfast, is the SS Nomadic. This little gem was used to ferry first and second-class passengers from the port of Cherbourg in France to the Titanic itself and is the last remaining ship of the famous White Star Line. There is something special about being able to see and touch an actual vessel from the era and, with a team of knowledgeable guides on board you will discover all the stories she has to tell.

Hour Four

Let’s face it, after a deep dive into over 100 years of maritime history you are going to be hungry. Best thing is to pop back to the Titanic Experience and enjoy some quality dining in the Pantry or, if you want a lighter bite or food on the go, visit the Galley Express Food Bar. Both are on the ground floor and both offer great local produce expertly prepared.
