Green Travel
Changing the way we travel is one of the most significant things we can do to reduce the impacts of climate change.
Leave the car at home and make use of Translink’s accessible services of Glider, Metro and NI Railway services, leaving you directly to the Maritime Mile.
Located only a short distance from Belfast City Centre, the Maritime Mile is the perfect location to visit by foot with it being approx. 25-minute walk from Belfast City Hall.
Hop on a Belfast Bike from one of the docking stations dotted across the Mile including Donegall Quay, Corporation Square, SSE Arena, Belfast Met and EastSide Visitor Centre.

Several businesses along the Maritime Mile have been awarded Green Tourism Accreditation’s including W5, Titanic Belfast, EastSide Visitor Centre, Titanic Hotel Belfast, and AC Hotel Belfast.
