This 6th & 7th of September, Belfast’s spectacular waterfront will be transformed into a vibrant celebration of sea, ships, stories and shared experiences as the Belfast Maritime Festival makes its much-anticipated return.
Stretching across the Maritime Mile, the festival invites locals and visitors alike to dive into a weekend of discovery. The iconic Titanic Quarter will be alive with activity, from tall ships docked along the quayside to street theatre, music, food, heritage and interactive family zones.
Festival Highlights
Slipways Street Food and Sounds
Get ready to feast at the Slipways Street Food Market, a delicious celebration of Northern Ireland’s finest local flavours. Set on the iconic Titanic Slipways, the Street Food Market will bring together a vibrant mix of local food vendors serving up freshly prepared dishes made with 100% locally sourced produce. Explore the Artisan Farmers Market, where regional producer will be showcasing and selling their goods—perfect for tasting, shopping, and supporting local.
Waterfront Stage
As you indulge, enjoy the sounds of the Maritime Mile Music Stage, set against Belfast’s stunning waterfront. From 11am to 5pm each day, the stage will come alive with a jam-packed line up of local and international artists, including standout performances from Joshua Burnside, The High Kings, Sharon Shannon and culminating in a special Saturday evening ticketed concert under the stars, headlined by Hothouse Flowers.
The Hamilton Dock Maritime Village at the Belfast Maritime Festival will be a celebration of Belfast’s rich maritime past and its innovative future. Discover immersive technology, interactive exhibits, hands-on traditional rope making demonstrations and boating building exhibitions.
Island Adventure Park
Dive into a world of maritime themed amusements from family-friendly exciting rides, including the Panoramic Wheel, offering amazing views of Belfast’s Maritime Mile. There is something for everyone at Island Adventure Park located on the Paddock (next to the Titanic Slipways)
The Belfast Maritime Festival has been organised by Belfast City Council in partnership with Maritime Belfast Trust and supported by Belfast Harbour, Titanic Quarter Limited, Titanic Belfast, Department for Communities, Odyssey Trust and Tourism NI.
